VMQ
Silicone (VMQ) is a versatile material widely used across many different industries. Industrial silicones are typically based on polydimethylsiloxanes. To improve processability, cross-linking, and resistance to low temperatures, this structure is partially modified with organic groups such as alkyl, vinyl, or phenyl.
The addition of fillers such as precipitated or amorphous-fumed silica enhances hardness and mechanical properties. This makes silicone suitable for both static and dynamic applications.
