FFKM

Perfluoroelastomers (FFKM) are fully fluorinated fluorocarbon elastomers that fill a critical gap in applications involving aggressive chemicals at high temperatures, up to 325°C. They are among the elastomers with the highest chemical resistance on the market and provide excellent resistance to high temperatures, chemicals, gases, and fluid permeation. Additionally, FFKM exhibits strong durability against steam, ozone, and weathering. Its flexible structure allows exceptional performance in sealing applications, making it highly suitable for hazardous environments involving aggressive chemicals.

The primary disadvantages of FFKM are its extremely high cost and lack of low-temperature properties. While suitable for hazardous environments, it does not perform well under sub-zero conditions. The typical operating temperature range of FFKM is 0°C to 325°C, making it indispensable for high-temperature applications.
